Hi Folks, today morning I was dreaming that why cant we have a device like the one as below,
A device which can have a option to insert sim card but it supports only data, not voice from telco service providers (Airtel, Vodafone, etc..)
Normally, if you take any mobile device it will support both voice and data (GPRS) nowdays 3G is coming into picture, if you take tablet and laptop it will support both wifi and wired network connection.
What I though is why cant a device support only data network from the GSM towers, so that a tablet can have a option to insert a SIM card which supports only data connection. This is because nowadays tablets are booming up, and it is easier to carry better then laptop, even in laptop also we can introduce this kind of option. If we roam outside we dont need to find out any wifi hotspots or any wifi access point, simply we can use as a mobile device only for data connection not for voice calls.
Feedbacks would be much appreciated....
